 Kanaly Biography
Chris Kanaly is the owner and Head Goaltending Instructor for Kanaly Goaltender Training located in Southampton, New Jersey. Chris played his Collegiate Hockey at Hofstra University in Long Island, New York where he starred for 4 Years (1991 - 1995) in the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) and owns many of the schools Goaltending Records. He started his Coaching Career as an Assistant Coach with his Alma Mater and began to Instruct the Goalies of various Long Island Junior Teams in 1996. He was given his first Head Coaching job in the Toms River Blackhawks program and promptly took that Team to the Atlantic District Finals and the National Tournament. Chris continued his Head Coaching and Goaltender Instruction throughout the late 90’s for the Toms River Organizations. He currently is the Goaltending Coach with the Trenton Titans of the ECHL, the Goaltending Coach of the EJHL’s Philadelphia Revolution Team, the Head Coach of the Southern Regional High School Team, and the Owner of Team Kanaly Elite Hockey which showcases ice hockey talent on a National Stage every summer. He is also the Goaltending Director for 2 of the States Premier Hockey Clubs: Team Comcast's Tier 1 AAA Program and the Toms River Blackhawks. Additional Duties as the Director of the Admirals, Riptide and Warwick Wildcats Goaltenders round out his tenders. Chris currently trains over 150 Goalies in 10 different states ranging from Mites in the local in House League to Prep School, Junior A, Collegiate and even the Professional Ranks. Chris also continues to work and consult with the countries best Junior programs including the USHL, NAHL, and EJHL and their respective coaches when placing Goaltenders at the next level.
